Software as a research edge

Technology expands the number of companies we can evaluate efficiently, allowing qualitative research to begin earlier and across a broader opportunity set.

Since launching in-house investment software, the research process has been able to look at thousands of securities in more depth than a one-person spreadsheet workflow allows. That is the actual edge claim: coverage and file quality, not a secret factor.

What the software is not: a black box that prints trades. Quantitative cuts (valuation, momentum quality, liquidity, country/industry mix) produce a working list. The manager still has to read filings, map incentives, and decide whether the accounting travels across borders.

Looking ahead, qualitative factors such as management incentives and industry structure are being pulled earlier in the stack so they are not a last-minute overlay on a pretty multiple.

We will not publish proprietary screens or live holdings on this site. The point of this page is to show that the work exists. Qualified prospective partners can request access.
